Welcome to Dikvijay Tour and Travels (“we,” “our,” or “the company”). These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, services, and communications made with Dikvijay.com or through its authorized representatives, affiliates, and digital channels. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms listed below.


🔹 General Terms

  • These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made directly or indirectly with Dikvijay Tour and Travels.
  • By confirming a tour, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
  • All packages, itineraries, and services are subject to availability and confirmation at the time of booking.
  • The company reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any booking without assigning a reason.
  • Services are provided as per current government regulations, safety guidelines, and environmental rules.
  • Any updates to these Terms will be posted on our website or communicated via official email. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any modifications.
  • The company operates under Indian law, and all legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.
  • Incomplete or inaccurate contact information provided by clients will not be considered the company’s responsibility.
  • These terms apply uniformly across all booking platforms — website, agents, social media, phone, or email.

🔹 Booking & Payment

  • A minimum advance payment is required to confirm your booking.
  • Full payment must be completed prior to the commencement of the tour unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments can be made through cash, UPI, bank transfer, credit/debit card, or approved online payment gateways.
  • Bookings are considered confirmed only upon written acknowledgment or invoice issued by the company.
  • Partial payments may lead to changes in accommodation, transport, or itinerary depending on availability.
  • All quotations are valid for a limited period and may change without prior notice.
  • GST and service charges are applicable as per prevailing Indian tax laws.
  • Currency exchange rates may impact prices for international tours.
  • Add-on services (like activities or meals) must be paid for separately and in advance.
  • Failure to make timely payments may result in automatic cancellation of services without refund.

🔹 Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • All cancellations must be made in writing via email or letter and will take effect from the date received by the company.
  • Cancellation charges apply depending on the proximity of the travel date:
    • 30+ days before: 25% deduction
    • 15–29 days before: 50% deduction
    • Less than 15 days: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
  • No refund will be given for “no-shows,” late arrivals, or unused services.
  • Government taxes, entry fees, or third-party booking costs are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations due to natural calamities, pandemics, strikes, or political unrest are subject to special consideration but may not guarantee a full refund.
  • Refunds, if applicable, are processed to the original payment source within 10–15 business days.
  • Discounted, promotional, or flash-sale packages are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • The company shall not be liable for refunds for services managed by third-party providers (flights, hotels, or activities).

🔹 Changes & Rescheduling

  • Clients may request a date change at least 7 days before departure; rescheduling is subject to availability and additional costs.
  • In case of unforeseen disruptions (weather, road closures, strikes, etc.), the company reserves the right to alter the itinerary or provide an equivalent alternative.
  • Substitutions of hotels, vehicles, or guides may occur due to operational reasons.
  • Price revisions may apply if rescheduled travel falls during peak or festive seasons.
  • No changes are permitted within 48 hours of the scheduled start date.
  • Emergency rescheduling due to medical issues requires valid proof.
  • Delays caused by airlines, transport, or traffic do not qualify for compensation.
  • In rare cases of company-initiated cancellations (e.g., low bookings or force majeure), travelers will receive either a full refund or an alternative tour option.

🔹 Travel Documents & Requirements

  • Travelers must carry valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Driving License).
  • For international tours, valid passports and visas are mandatory.
  • Visa approval remains at the sole discretion of the respective consulate; Dikvijay holds no control or influence.
  • The company will not be responsible for visa denial, expired documents, or entry refusals.
  • Travelers must comply with all COVID-19, vaccination, or health guidelines applicable at the time of travel.
  • Foreign nationals are required to comply with Indian immigration laws and local travel regulations.
  • Children must travel under parental or guardian supervision with appropriate documentation.
  • The company bears no responsibility for missed tours or refunds due to incomplete travel documents.

🔹 Liability & Responsibility

  • Dikvijay Tour and Travels acts solely as a travel facilitator and not as the direct service provider.
  • We are not liable for any injury, loss, delay, theft, or damage caused by third-party service providers such as airlines, hotels, or transport operators.
  • Clients are advised to purchase personal travel insurance covering medical, baggage, and trip cancellation risks.
  • The company shall not be held responsible for acts of God, accidents, political unrest, or natural disasters.
  • Participation in adventure activities (trekking, rafting, camping, etc.) is at the traveler’s own risk.
  • Parents or guardians are solely responsible for the conduct and safety of minors.
  • Damage caused to property, vehicles, or hotel facilities by the traveler must be compensated immediately.
  • Any disputes or claims must be reported within 7 days of tour completion.
  • In all cases, the company’s liability is limited to the value of the services purchased.

🔹 Code of Conduct

  • Travelers must respect local culture, customs, and laws throughout the tour.
  • Misbehavior, harassment, or abusive language toward guides, staff, or other travelers will result in termination of services without refund.
  • Possession or use of illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
  • Drunken or unsafe behavior that endangers others may result in removal from the tour.
  • Travelers must adhere to hotel check-in times, itinerary schedules, and group timings.
  • Tour leaders hold the right to take appropriate disciplinary actions in the interest of group safety.
  • Smoking and drinking are permitted only in designated zones as per local laws.
  • Travelers must not litter, harm wildlife, or damage natural surroundings.
  • Complaints or grievances must be reported politely and documented in writing for resolution.

🔹 Accommodation

  • Accommodation will be provided based on the selected package tier (Standard, Deluxe, or Luxury).
  • All rooms are twin-sharing unless otherwise specified.
  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to hotel policy and additional charges.
  • Upgrades, room preferences, or specific view requests are chargeable and subject to availability.
  • Properties in remote areas may offer basic amenities; luxury standards cannot be guaranteed.
  • Any damage to hotel property caused by the traveler will incur repair charges.
  • Complimentary services (breakfast, Wi-Fi, etc.) depend on hotel policy and may change without notice.
  • No refunds for early check-outs or unutilized nights by the traveler’s choice.

🔹 Transportation

  • Vehicles provided are clean, insured, and regularly maintained.
  • Vehicle type depends on group size and tour category (Sedan, SUV, Tempo, etc.).
  • Air conditioning may be turned off in hilly or restricted zones for safety.
  • Drivers follow government road safety norms and speed limits.
  • Extra kilometers or unplanned detours are subject to additional charges.
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or mechanical issues are beyond company control.
  • Night travel is limited for safety unless pre-approved.
  • Travelers must wear seat belts and follow in-vehicle safety rules.
  • Smoking, drinking, or eating inside vehicles is strictly prohibited.
  • Luggage space is limited; excess baggage may require separate arrangements at the client’s cost.

🔹 Special Services & Add-ons

  • Requests for special assistance (wheelchairs, dietary needs, baby seats) must be made during booking.
  • Premium add-ons like candlelight dinners, paragliding, or helicopter rides are available at extra cost.
  • Seasonal surcharges may apply during festivals or peak tourism periods.
  • Some activities are weather-dependent and may be canceled without refund.
  • Optional excursions outside the standard itinerary will incur additional charges.
  • Group discounts apply only when all travelers book under a single transaction.
  • Professional photography or videography services are available upon request.
  • Entry tickets, permits, and national park fees are not included unless specified.
  • Medical assistance, if arranged, will be chargeable directly to the traveler.
  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended but not included unless stated in writing.
